Carotid Artery Disease

first off about a year ago i got to hearing a swiching in my right ear. it was like a gushing sound, I was actually hearing the restricked blood flow in my carotid artery. it was so annoying and i become very alarmed and worried about it…I told my primary Dr she she had me get and operation called Carotid Endarterectomy..now i dont hear the sound anymore and are doing well so far.
