Diverticulitis

Ever since I had surgery for diverticulosis [diverticulitis] (partial colon removal and reconnection) I feel dehydrated. I started drinking at least 96oz. of purified water daily and found no relief (it made me urinate very frequently, but my skin still dry and mouth parched, hard stool), until I started adding a gatitor aide [Gatorade] type mix (with potassium and sodium).
