i am writing this for my mum, a bit disappointed to be the first, but hey it's gotta start somewhere!
my mum is in her 80's, and has just been diagnosed with severe diverticular disease after 80 odd years of good health it has come as quite a shock to her! she is struggling with her diet, and doing a fair bit of moaning about it too, but there is such conflicting advice out there i was hoping to find some first hand advice from fellow sufferers. is there anything that helps you ? i.e. something soothing to the bowel like aloe vera?? any advice at all would be very much appreciated, thanks.
