Anemia from passing so much blood?

Post a new topicby sunniegnt on Mon May 19, 2008 1:18 am

My urine has had a lot of blood in it for the past week. Can this cause me to become anemic?? My iron is usually on the low side anyways. My family and friends have been commenting how pale and tired I look right now so I am wondering?? I know I am passing a stone right now which is causing the blood, but it seems to be stuck.
Thanks,
gh

I know it is scary, but the bleeding may be making you anemic. Have you followed up with the doctor?

I have asked 2 drs now and they both have said no, it takes more blood than just in your urine. I kind of am questioning that..
