new to forum and kidney stones

Post a new topicby W00BY on Sun Dec 13, 2009 8:28 pm

I have suffered with kidney probs for a long time resulting from problematic pregnancies.
I have suffered recurrent kidney + bladder infections and uti's for over ten years investigations (done four years ago) under anesthetic showed inflammation but not much else... I am on a constant antibiotic and have to drink water religiously watch what I eat and my weight etc...
I recently started getting puffy hands and excrutiating pain in them which quickly turned into nausea chills and sweating and dizzyness made worse by eating and drinking I had white foam as if someone had put bubble bath in my urine when urinating and a pain which was along the lines of the same as having an ectopic pregnancy (which I have previously experienced) very particular and intense (groin and back on right side)... worse directly after urination...eventually I passed three stones, (first ever to my knowledge) I managed to catch the smallest (3mm diameter bright yellow with a greeny tinge and smooth the two that got away where 4/5mm and looked more like stones) however when sent for analysis the results were inconclusive!?!
What could the reason for this be?
I have started getting symptoms like the last episode again in the last few days even though I am currently one a high dose of cephlexin for a kidney infection
I have had blood in every urine sample taken(easily double figures) in the last 6 months.38 years old female recently been diagnosed with inflammatory bowel disease also.
Thanks in advance for replies!
