Mammogram after lumpectomy

Post a new topicby Catherine on Wed Aug 22, 2007 4:09 pm

Hi. I am about to have my first follow-up mammogram after having a lumpectomy a year ago. I am so nervous--not only afraid of what they might find, but also afraid that it is going to really hurt. Can anyone give me an idea whether it will be more painful than usual? Thanks.
