Pelvic and Transvaginal Ultrasound

Post a new topicby Guest on Mon Mar 04, 2002 1:48 am

I had a ultrasound done and during the test the technician stopped and wrote something done on paper and ever since that moment I been thinking that she had seen something. This ultrasound was a post-myomectomy (removal of a fibroid). I am just wondering what the technician could of wrote down, is it usual for them to write something during the test. Haven't got my results back yet.

Ultrasound technologists are forever “writing down” notes, measurements while scanning. At some point he or she will be discussing these findings with a radiologist and the notes will help.
