Post a new topicby Guest on Tue Apr 30, 2002 8:54 pm

I have been having trouble where I couldn't eat fried foods. My stomach felt like acid reflex. Now I can't even drink water without a burning pain. The dr. thought It was my gallbladder did test and an ultra sound no gall stones all they found was a fold in the gallbladder.Kidney, and all other things on the right side was good.I still can't eat without pain and somebody told me about an ulcer just above the gallbladder and Drs. sometime mistake it for the gallbladder. Please give me your info on this.

You know that I cannot make a diagnosis without more information and anyway, I’m just a radiologist anyway. Having said that from the sound of your story, I think you need an upper GI series or upper endoscopy pronto. You may want to click on the Upper GI heading in the side panel on the left under Imaging tests. Also click on “Ulcers” and “Hiatal hernias and reflux” under conditions.
